Plot

Parudhi Ilamaran is an Inspector of Police. He gets two crucial cases: one is a murder case and the other is a missing case. Parudhi receives a complaint from a middle-aged woman, Sakunthala, saying that her husband Sekaran is missing. The couple got a loan from a loan shark, Karimedu Thyagu, for their daughter’s marriage. Thyagu is the right hand for the MLA Thirugnana Murthy. After collecting enough money to repay the loan, Sekaran went missing, and that’s the complaint made by Sakunthala. While investigating this case, Parudhi enters into a murder case of a young woman, Parvathy. Before he concludes, a series of events happen and make the cases complicated to solve. What will be Parudhi’s next step in both cases? Will he solve the issue and find out the culprits? The rest of the film reveals these.

Star Performance

Thaman excelled in the given cop role. His mannerisms and body language are impressive. Sriranjani, Deepa, MS Bhaskar, and Vela Ramamoorthy had done their roles perfectly.

Analysis

Though there are crime investigation thriller films released at regular intervals, this one is interesting to an extent. The casting team is to be appreciated for the perfect pick. The director should be really appreciated for making the audience sit at the edge of the sit by his twists and turns in the screenplay. Many a time, the audience is directed to a particular person with suspicion of guilt. The whodunit thrills are perfectly made, keeping the audience glued to their seats without turning their heads to the exit door. The BGM gels well with the story and the visuals are impressive too. However, there are a couple of scenes that test the patience of the audience.

Verdict

The whodunit thriller is impressive with the performances and the screenplay. If you are bored of watching regular rom-coms and TV serials, you can watch this film. You won’t be disappointed for sure!
